The next Reconnection Fitness event will be SERVING UP FUN! It’s a volleyball mixer designed to let you play with a variety of different people no matter your skill level. If you’re someone who wants to get some movement, enjoy some casual volleyball, and have fun this is the perfect event for you.

Is this event for beginners?
Reconnection Fitness events are designed for all skill levels, so everyone can join in! You’ll be surrounded by a supportive group, who love a little bit of friendly competition. However, in the end everyone is there to have fun!Â
How does the event work?
Each court will have eight players, six playing on the court and two on the sidelines. Please note depending how many people sign sign up the number of players on the courts might have to change. You have to score 21 points to win a game.
After each game, the losing team rotates off the court. The winning players split up, and the two waiting players rotate in to form the next teams.
About halfway through the event, we’ll take a short break and then reassign players to new courts. This gives everyone the chance to play with a wider variety of partners and opponents throughout the event.
Do you have to pay to participate?
Yes, the official entry fee is $15. All money from admission will go straight to covering the venue and other event costs. Donations are also welcome! Never feel pressured to contribute only when you see fit. All donations will be used for future events!Â
Do I need to bring anything?
Since we will be playing outside and on sand courts here are some suggestions: Sunscreen, sunglasses, and flip flops. It’s always a good idea to bring a water bottle as well to make sure you stay hydrated.Â
Will there be food?
Light snacks will be available!Â
